Daugavpils is Latvia’s second-largest city, located in the southeastern part of the country near the borders of Lithuania and Belarus. Known for its rich multicultural heritage, Soviet-era architecture, and vibrant contemporary art scene. Easily accessible by train, bus, or car, Daugavpils is about 230 km from Riga and 180 km from Vilnius, with regular train and bus connections taking approximately 3 to 4 hours. The city offers a mix of historical landmarks, such as the 19th-century Daugavpils Fortress, and modern cultural spaces, making it an evolving hub for artistic and civic engagement in the Baltic region.
In the heart of the old town is our New East space with more than 300 square meters, several co-working rooms, a space for exhibitions and performances, a hall for small events and events for more than 100 people.
