Quo Vadis Latgola – more than just a collection of texts. It is a chronicle of our time, the voice of the region, an attempt to record the moment in which we live.

This edition contains more than 30 stories and poems written by those who feel and understand Latgale. Activists, poets, artists, researchers, journalists, politicians - they all answer the main question in different ways: where are we going?

There are no dry facts and impartial reports here. These are texts in which emotions, reflections, doubts and hopes live. We talk about change, about memory and the future, about the things that disturb and inspire us. We do not record answers, but questions. After all, being aware of one's questions is the first step to understanding. We believe that this text will encode what disturbs and inspires, what makes us doubt and hope.

Designed by Anna Jurevich, a talented designer at New East, Quo Vadis Latgola will not only reflect the thoughts of today but also lay the groundwork for a dialogue about tomorrow. It’s a bridge between where we’ve been and where we’re heading.
