Re:Spect

We are pleased to announce the launch of Re:Spect, a new Erasmus+ project bringing together three partner organisations from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania:

Civic Resilience Initiative (Lithuania) - Local Partner

The project focuses on preventing hate speech, bullying, discrimination, and disinformation while promoting empathy, critical thinking, and constructive dialogue among young people. We want to strengthen youth’s ability to respond constructively through empathy, fact-checking, and non-violent communication. Also we will help build educators’ capacity with creative, non-formal tools applicable in schools and youth centers.

Over the next 18 months, the partnership will:

• conduct researches on disinformation, the online environment and experiences with hate speech in all three countries;

• organise youth workshops about hate speech, self-regulation and media literacy;

• train educators and youth workers;

• develop practical non-formal learning methods;

• publish a multilingual practical guide for schools and youth organisations about the project topics.

Together, we aim to create safer and more inclusive communities where young people can recognise hate speech, verify information, and respond with confidence rather than fear.
